* Bhagadatta
Naraka (Narakasura), king of the Pragjyotisha (Assam) was the son of
Bhoomi Devi and the Varaha avatara of Lord
Vishnu. Bhoomi Devi had been granted the Vaishnastra by Lord
Vishnu. Bhagadatta was the son of Naraka and a great friend of
Indra. (Bhagadatta was the earthly incarnation of the Asura
Bashkala or he is said to be born from a limb of the asura called
Bashkala). He had two sons Vajradatta and Pushpadatta.
Since Naraka had been killed by Krishna, Bhagadatta considered Krishna
his enemy and fought on the side of the Kauravas during the Kurukshetra
war. He fought on his valiant and undefeatable elephant
Supratika. He was the oldest warrior in the Kurukshetra war.
His skin was so baggy that he had to tie up his eyelids so that they
would not obstruct his vision. But he fought valiantly for 12 days
with his huge army of Kiratas (Tibeto-Burman or Mongoloid origin) and
Chinas. On the 12th day, while he aimed the Vaishnavastra at
Arjuna, Krishna accepted the weapon on his chest which immediately
adorned him as a garland. The Vaishnavastra had thus come back to
Krishna (Lord Vishnu). Arjuna, then aimed his crescent shaped
arrow and killed Bhagadatta. Since Bhagadatta was Indra's friend,
Arjuna as a last respect circumbulated the fallen Bhagadatta.

* Bhrigu Maharishi He
(Sanskrit: Bhṛgu) was one of the seven great sages,
the Saptarshis, one of the many Prajapatis (the facilitators of
Creation) created by Brahma (The God of Creation), the first compiler of
predictive astrology, and also the author of Bhrigu Samhita, the
astrological (Jyotish) classic. Bhrigu is considered as a Manasa Putra
(mind-born-son) of Brahma. The adjectival form of the name, Bhargava, is
used to refer to the descendants and the school of Bhrigu.
He was married to Khyati, the daughter of Daksha. He had two sons by her, named Dhata and Vidhata. His daughter Bhargavi, married Vishnu (Narayana).
He has one more son through Kavya (Usana), who is better known than Bhrigu himself - Shukra, learned sage and guru of the asuras. The sage Chyavana is his son through Puloma. One of his descendants was sage Jamadagni, who in turn was the father of sage Parshurama, considered an avatar of Vishnu.
