These pictures were taken at the temple
car festival of the Kamachiamman koil. The specialty of the festival is
that the temple car is made up of plates made from gini - a material used
for making the bells used in temples of east India to be played during
the festival as well during arti of the lord.
The Velli ratham (siver chariot) festival is usually conducted in the month of Maasi (March-April)
