Concert in the Dark turns 8!!!
by Anil Srinivasan
On Wednesday, December 10th, 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM
At NAAM Centre, T Nagar, Chennai
(sharing message from Anil Srinivasan)

Started eight years ago as a labor of love to express empathy
and solidarity with those without sight during the festive Margazhi
season, this initiative has seen eight successful editions. A concert
performed entirely in the dark, with the performers completely
blindfolded, is a unique experience - not just in India, but anywhere in
the world.
As always, I am joined by the exceptionally talented Naveen Napier and
Krishna Kishor, who will be performing blindfolded on bass and drums - a
truly remarkable feat. This year, we are also joined by two special
playback singers, Khatija Rahman and Saindhavi. Their participation
reaffirms my belief that good ideas always attract their own support.
My heartfelt thanks to the wonderful Suhasini Maniratnam for generously
offering her space in T Nagar - the NAAM Centre - to host the concert
entirely free of charge. We are also deeply grateful to Mr. Anand of
Mudra OOH, whose meaningful contribution adds great value to the event.
All proceeds will go to the Gnanadarshan Seva Home for Visually Disabled
Women - a center that supports women without sight and is led by its
dynamic director, Mr.Sundaresan, who himself is bereft of sight.
It would mean the world to me if you could join us for this unique
concert from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, December 10th, with your
families. Please send us an RSVP to this email or message 9003015205
(Anuradha), and we will ensure you are comfortably seated.
It promises to be an unforgettable experience and a beautiful way to end the year on a meaningful and melodious note.
Warmly,
Anil Srinivasan
