Chettinad ICSSR Project
Part of an ICSSR-funded research project titled "Digitalising Chettinad Architectural and Cultural Heritage in Tamil Nadu for Sustainable Knowledge Management: An Empirical Analysis," conducted by a research team of Christ University, Bangalore. This project aims to document and digitalize the tacit knowledge embedded in Chettinad’s architecture, craft, and cultural heritage. Using geospatial modeling, IoT sensors, 360° 3D virtual tours, and immersive media technologies, the project seeks to create a sustainable knowledge repository that aids in heritage preservation and dissemination.
