The Moolavar is Devaadirajan seen in standing posture with a gadhai (mace) in his left hand facing east.  There are idols of Garudalwar, Mother Cauvery on the left & Prahalaadhan on the right.  This is the birth place of the great Tamil poet Kamban.  There are the idols of Kambar & his wife in the temple.  Kamban Vizha is celebrated here every year
