Mahant Ghasi Memorial Museum located in Raipur  was built by Raja Mahant Ghasidas of Rajnandgaon.

Purkhauti Muktangan at Naya Raipur, an open air art Museum cum Park displaying life-like figures of tribals performing different folk arts was developed by the Tourism Ministry of Chhattisgarh and was inaugurated by Hon'ble APJ Abdul Kalam, the former President of India in Nov 2006.
