Nataka Academy in association
with Sri Krishna Gana Sabha and Sri Krishna Sweets, has planned to revive
yesteryear plays with an aim to give the younger generation an opportunity
to watch those old plays.
One drama will be staged each month,
on a particular Sunday morning, at Sri Krishna Gana Sabha. Following is
the list of some of the dramas to be staged with their tentative dates:
Devan’s ‘Thuppariyum Sambu’ (Nov. 18); Kalki’s ‘Thevai Oru Thangai’ (Dec.
6); Mouli’s ‘Oru Pullanguzhal Aduppu Odhukiradhu’ (Jan.2008); Karaikudi
Narayanan’s ‘Achchani’ (Feb. 2008) and Kalki’s ‘En Deivam’ (March 2008).
Admissions to vintage dramas is free.
