THE INDIAN CRICKET
TEAM
The Indian Team - some guys think it funny
That these guys don't play Cricket for money
They play to bring the country fame
And get themselves a good name
Why ? Watching Sachin bat is fun
And for Srinath's pace the batsmen run
Dravid is consistent in all forms of Cricket
And Prasad's leg cutter gets him many a wicket
Ganguly's footwork is very fine
And Kumble can run through the batting line
There is also Jadeja who keeps a cool head
Whose ever-smiling face takes his team ahead
When he leads through thick and thin
Even Nayan keeps with stitches on his chin
So when the Indian Team is so strong
I don't think anything can go wrong
With the World Cup they get a Benz free
Another motivation to repeat 1983
If you win the whole country will rejoice
Come on ! You can do it boys.
SACHIN MY HERO
Out comes Sachin with the cricket bat
Which cheers up all his fans
The bowlers fear the sixes and fours
Because they know he will never let go
Makes lots of runs One days or Test matches
Bowls pretty well and takes cool catches
Fifties and centuries he keeps making
Because of which awards he keeps taking
All the parts of the game he has mastered
And each time he bats he scores faster
Saves India from follow on
And smashes bowlers like Shane Warne
Every time he bats he makes no blunder
That's why he is the World's
8th wonder !
