Pooja Vidhanam – Sunday, July 23rd, 2006 A very innovative workshop on 23rd July, exclusively for Women (Kanyas, Daughters-in-law, Mothers-in-law), to learn the process of performing Varalakshmi Vritam, Krishna Jayanthi & Ganesh Chaturthi will be held at Besant Nagar. The participants would be given a Gift Pack, containing relevant puja items. Learn to wear Madisar & Pancha Katcham, different types of Plait (Pinnal Jadai). Interested Men can also join. (Near Bus Terminus) Exclusive NRIs' "Kala Poshakam" - (A Five Day Festival for Dance & Music – Dec. 2006) An exclusive "Kala Poshakam" programme for NRIs' & Artists outside Tamilnadu, will be conducted during the 1st fortnight of December ie. 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th & 10th (Wed, Thur, Fri, Sat & Sun) 2006, at Mylapore, Chennai. Performers (All age groups) in Bharatnatyam, Carnatic Music – Vocal & Instrumental are welcome to participate in this Festival, during the prestigious December season. It goes as 1 hour slots. Interested NRIs' & Artists outside Tamilnadu can contact us. Awards & Titles shall also be conferred on talented performers.
